I seem to have managed to actually finish (for certain values of finished) my fic for the Bandom Holiday. After a long, painful period of not being able to write/not writing at all, that came as a bit of a pleasant surprise.

And now I need a beta.

I've never had anyone beta my work, so not entirely sure how to go about this. The story could definitely do with a bit of sense/canon check and seeing that English ain't my first language it possibly needs an eye cast over the grammar/punctuation/spelling as well...

Because meeting deadlines really isn't my strongest point I'm still tweaking and polishing the fic, but intend to have that done by Friday. If anyone's around to beta this weekend, please let me know below! (the story features almost, but not quite, waycest, in case that squicks anyone)

First of all, thank you so much for writing a fic for me! I've never had anything written just for me and I'm really excited!

I kinda suck at coming up with prompts because I read and like A LOT of stuff. Sometimes I realise I like stuff after reading a fic about it. This means my fic reading is all over the place, from kink to fluff, with a bit of crack! thrown in for good measure. Sometimes it's the pairing that attracts me, sometimes it's the topic, best case scenario it's both.

Being relatively new to bandom there aren't any people that would know me well, but it might have transpired that I'm a massive fan of The Used. They're just so ridiculously adorable/adorably ridiculous, all of them (even Bert). Dirty inky boys FTW! Jepha's my all time favourite and if I had an OTP it would be Jepha/Dan (with Dan being Jepha's Dom).

Regarding MCR, I love the Killjoys and anything to do with Warped (Summer Of Like!, Gerard/Bert!). Would read the hell out of a van days fic as well. My favourites are Frank and Mikey, but to be honest, I like 'em all, any pairing (and that includes the Way brothers).

I'm not particularly keen on het and I really, really don't like Sarah (but still don't want to read anything negative about her, I'm happy that Mikey's happy). AU's are fine if they don't stray from real life too much, but close to canon would be better. And while I'm ok with gen, I'd prefer them getting it on, sweet and fluffy or filthy and rough, or both.

Just as a side note, in my head the whole world is polyamorous and bi. My head's a pretty happy place *g*.
